Please be advised that at a regular meeting of Council held on April 4th, 2022, the Municipality of Ogden has adopted By-law 2022.11 amending Zoning By-law 2000-03. Please see English version page 2. The municipality has received the following information from the Quebec government concerning the installation of high-speed internet. For Videotron customers, the installation is delayed until the end of January. For Cogeco customers, the installation is scheduled for the end of September. We invite you to check with the government via the website for your specific situation.
Interactive map – Data Validation Is high-speed Internet coming to your home soon? Check the status of the work on the interactive map! Link: www.quebec.ca/hautevitesse The Quebec government's interactive map on the status of high-speed Internet services is now available. It allows you to find out if your home currently has access to high-speed Internet and if so, by which service provider. If your household does not have access, you will be able to see the provider for your area and find out when the work is expected to be completed. Important: If the map indicates that your household is not eligible, or that you are currently served when you are not, you must inform the Government of Quebec by sending an email to: [email protected]. The map is a data validation tool and helps to clarify high-speed Internet coverage. Connectivity projects will be adjusted according to the information provided by citizens. The Magog Ecocentre will exceptionally be closed on Wednesday October 12th, 2022, from 13:00 to 15:30.
Public notice is hereby given by Vickie Comeau, Director General of the Municipality of Ogden, that a regular meeting of Council will take place on Monday, September 12th, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ogden Town Hall located at 70, Ogden Road. Though the workshop targets individuals 55 years and up, it will be an interesting tool for all vulnerable persons or those seeking to better protect themselves against real dangers of fraud or financial abuse. The workshop, to be presented at the Pat Burns Arena located at 27 Pat-Burns St., will be presented in a bilingual format from 10:30 am to noon, including an interactive and question/answer period and will be followed by a light luncheon. The activity is offered free of charge, however participants are requested to reserve their place.
