Triennial Real Estate Assessment Roll The new roll is now available. Citizens may consult it either at the Town Hall or online at: www.mrcmemphremagog.com/evaluation-fonciere. The roll has been established by an independent evaluation firm, JP Cadrin & Assos., mandated by the MRC and will take effect for fiscal years 2024, 2025 and 2026. The new values were updated to reflect market rates as of the date of July 1st, 2022. Property values have increased substantially across Quebec including the Memphremagog MRC and here in Ogden. In fact, the 17 municipalities of our MRC have seen increases between 50% and 80% while Ogden’s average increases are of the order of 60%. Please note that the municipality has no input whatsoever into the evaluator’s work. Any questions regarding the roll should be directed to the firm JP Cadrin at 819-843-3635. David Lépine, mayor Local Products, Jewelry, Original Creations, Gift Ideas. Light Refreshments. September 29, 30 and October 1, 2023. If I say the word collectivity. What do you think of spontaneously? For me, the community is first of all the people who compose it, a mozaïque of different individuals with each his ou her personality and life story, but also, with a common anchor, their belonging to a community. As part of the Journées de la Culture, it is specifically the Stanstead community, our community, that we wish to honor this year through the work of its artists and artisans whose sensitivity, creativity and works contribute, in part, to make our identity what it is. Let us thank those who have given themselves the mission to do us good! Jean-Michel Lamothe Organizer of the Journées de la Culture in Stanstead 514-649-9468 lamothejeanmichel1@gmail.com Ogden citizens, join us for a free lecture on the deer population in our region! Montreal and Laval Public notice is hereby given that the triennial roll of the Municipality of Ogden, coming into force during the 2024-2025-2026 fiscal years, was deposited at my office on September 12th 2023 and any person may consult it at this location during regular business hours. Please be advised that at a regular meeting of Council held on August 14, 2023, the Municipality of Ogden has adopted Bylaw no. 2023.07 to standardize the numbering of certain municipal bylaws. Read our mayor's message as well as a wealth of important information. Please be advised that at a regular meeting of Council held on July 10th- 2023, the Municipality of Ogden has adopted Bylaw no. 2023.06 modifying zoning bylaw 2000.3 in order to allow short term rental of two rooms in a single-family detached dwelling. Over the past few weeks, some lakefront property owners on Lake Memphremagog or the Tomifobia River have seen their docks, boathouses or access to the lake flooded. In some cases, the retreating waters have left them with damaged structures to repair, and in others with shores to stabilize. We remind you that all work on the shoreline and littoral requires a municipal permit. This permit authorizes work for a specific period and subject to specific conditions. Works benefiting from acquired rights can be repaired by obtaining a permit beforehand. However, when repairs involve working underwater, authorization from the ministère de Faune is required, and is a condition in order to get the municipal permit.
You should also be aware that any work carried out without a permit can result in substantial fines and penalties at both the municipal and provincial levels. These penalties apply not only to property owners, but also to any contractor or person who carries out such work without first obtaining a permit. When it comes to cleaning up debris or algae littering shorelines, no municipal permit is required. Please do not hesitate to contact the municipal inspector by telephone or e-mail for any information or to obtain the documents required to submit an application. Revolving sales from July 27th to August 23rd. The largest selection of second-hand items in the region!

The Municipality of Ogden is inviting its citizens to a free and bilingual information session to answer questions about tick-borne diseases such as Lyme disease.
