The annual budget is tabled and adopted in December of each year at a special public sitting of the Council. The date and time of the meeting are announced by means of a public notice.

The audited financial statements for a given fiscal year (January 1st to December 31st) are tabled before the Council at the sitting of April of the following year.

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT POLICY
In order to comply with new provincial regulations making it mandatory for municipalities to adopt a contract management policy before January 1st, 2011, the Council adopted Ogden's Contract Management Policy (available only in French at present) at a special sitting held on December 23rd, 2010. The Ogden policy contains easily implementable measures tailored to the needs of a small municipality such as ours, while still respecting all ministerial requirements.
